Concerts

This whole idea of the concerts is not just taking lessons and learning notes and chords, but learning songs and playing them with other passionate musicians, and getting out on stage

Our concerts involve students being accompanied by a professional backing band including a drummer, bass player, singer and keyboards. Students are placed in small groups with other students and assigned appropriate parts within the ensemble.

The scale of the production, and in particular the audio visual system is unlike typical school recitals in that it is intended to reflect that of a more established live venue. Flashing lights, smoke machines, big amplifiers, and so on…. are used to give each student the experience of performing on a live rock stage, the opportunity to share their passion for music and hopefully something they will cherish for years to come.

The concert acts as an annual goal as well allowing family and friends to gauge how a students learning and musical development is progressing.
